"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should
not perish, but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world; but
that the world should be saved through Him.  He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not
believe has been judged already, because He has not believed in the name of the one and only Son
of God. This is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness
rather than the light; for their works were evil.  For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does
not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.  But he who does the truth comes to the light,
that his works may be revealed as having been manifest in God."  John 3:16-21  "In the day of wrath
and revelation of the righteous judgement of God, who will render to every man according to his
deeds."  Romans 2:5-6  "On the day when according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men
through Christ Jesus."  Romans 2:16  "There is only one Lawgiver who is able to save and destroy.
But who are you to judge another?"  James 4:12  Therefore,  "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is
at hand."  Matthew  3:2

There are scriptures in which the punishment and wrath come to an end.  One of these is the parable
of the slave who was forgiven his debt by the king.  That slave then goes on to persecute those who
owe him money. He was unwilling to extend the same mercy shown to him. This upset the king and
so;  "His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due him.
So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you do not each forgive your brother from your hearts
for his misdeeds."  Matthew 18:34-35  Another example is found in Matthew 5:25-26,  "Agree with
your adversary quickly while you are on the way with him, (repent for the salvation of Jesus Christ)
lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast
into prison.  Most certainly I tell you, you will by no means come out of there until you have paid the
last penny."

Other scriptures speak prophetically about the Lord's rescue of those who are in hell or prison.
"Thus says the Lord: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for
her children; she refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more. Thus says the
Lord: Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work will be rewarded,
declares the Lord. They will return from the land of the enemy."  Jeremiah 31:15-16 This word is
confirmed in Isaiah 49:25-26  "Thus says the Lord, even the captives of the mighty will be taken
away, and the prey of the despot will be delivered; for I will contend with the one who contends with
you, and I will save your children.  All flesh will know that I am the Lord, your Savior and your
Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."  David further alludes to this truth in Psalm 88:10-12,  " Do You
show wonders to the dead?  Do the dead rise up and praise You?  Is Your loving kindness declared
in the grave or your faithfulness in destruction?  Are your wonders made known in the dark or your
righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?"

So in 1st Peter 3:19-20 we see that "...He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who before were
disobedient, when the Lord waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ship was being built.  In it,
few, that is eight souls, were brought through the water."  Therefore it says,  "When He ascended on
high He captured a host of prisoners, and gave gifts to men.  Now the saying, "He ascended,"  what
does it mean but that He first descended into the lower parts of the earth?  He who descended is the
one who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things."  Ephesians 4:8-10   David
says this in Psalm  68:18,  "You have ascended on high.  You have led away captives; You have
received gifts among men, yes, even among the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell there."
"For to this end Christ died, rose from the dead and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the
dead and the living."  Romans 14:9  "Therefore God also highly exalted Him, and gave to Him the
name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in
heaven and those on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."  Philippians 2:9-11  "For to this purpose the Gospel
was preached even to the dead, that though they will indeed be judged in the flesh as men, they
might live according to the will of God in the spirit."  1st Peter 4:6   "For the Lord is good; His loving
kindness endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations."   Psalm 100:5  "To Him be the
glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.  Amen."  Ephesians

"For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
For finding fault with them, He said, "Behold, the days come, says the Lord, that I will make a new
covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah; not according to the covenant that I made
with their fathers, in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for
they did not continue in My covenant and I disregarded them," says the Lord.  For this is the
covenant that I will make with the house of Israel.  After those days, says the Lord: I will put my law
into their mind, and I will also write them on their heart.  I will be their God and they will be my people.
And they will not teach every one his fellow-citizen, and every man his brother saying, 'Know the
Lord,'  for all will know Me, from their least to their greatest.  For I will be merciful to their
unrighteousness, and I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more.  When the Lord said,  "A
New Covenant,"  he has made the first old.  But that which is becoming old and growing older is
ready to vanish."  Hebrews 8:7-13

"For the promise to Abraham and to his descendants that he should be heir of the world was not
through the law, but through the righteousness of faith."  "For this cause it is through faith, that it may
be according to grace, that the promise might be sure to all the descendants, not only to those who
are under the law, but also to those that are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.  As it
is written,  "I have made you a father of many nations."  Romans 4:13,16-17

"For if by the sin of the one, death reigned through the one, so much more will those who receive the
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.  So
then as through one sin all men were condemned, even so through one act of righteousness all men
were justified to life.  For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so
through the obedience of the One many will be made righteous."  Romans 5:17-19  "For God has
shut up all in disobedience that He might show mercy to all."  Romans 11:32  "For since death came
by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by a man.  For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all
will be made alive.  But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ's at His
coming.  Then  the end comes, when He will deliver up the kingdom to God, the Father, when he will
have abolished all rule and all authority and power."  1st Corinthians 15:21-24   "That at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth and those under the earth, and
that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Phillipians 2:10-11 "For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men."  Titus  2:11
"For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have set our trust in the living God,
who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.  Command and teach these things."  1st
Timothy  4:10-11

Many  have heard of eternal damnation but have you heard of the eternal gospel?  " I saw an angel
flying in mid heaven, having an
eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to
every nation, tribe, language and people.  The angel said with a loud voice,  "Fear the Lord and give
Him glory; for the hour of His judgement has come.  Worship Him who made the heavens, the earth
and the sea and all the springs of waters!"  Revelation 14:6-7

"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to Myself."  John 12:32  "This is the will of
My Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but raise it up on the last
day.  This is the will of the One who sent Me that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in Him,
should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day."  John 6:39-40  "I know that His
commandment is eternal life.  Therefore the things I tell you; I say even as the Father has told Me."
John 12:50

"Yes, truth is lacking and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The Lord saw it and it
displeased Him that there was no justice.  He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there
was no intercessor: therefore His own arm brought salvation to Him; and His righteousness, it upheld
Him." Isaiah 59:15-16  "So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: It shall not return to Me
void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent  it to do."  Isaiah

"...Those whom you have given Me I have kept.  None of them is lost, except the son of perdition, that
the Scripture might be fulfilled."  John 17:12

"Who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a
salvation ready to be revealed in the last
." 1st Peter 1:5

"Father, the time has come.  Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify You; even as You gave
Him authority over all mankind, He will give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. This is eternal
life, that they might know You, the only true God, and Him whom You sent, Jesus Christ."  "The glory
which You have given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, even as We are one.  I in them
and You in Me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that You sent Me, and
love them, even as You loved Me.  Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with
Me where I am, that they may see My glory, which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the
foundation of the world.  Righteous Father, the world has not known You, but I have known You; and
these have known that You sent Me.  I have made known to them Your name, and will make it known;
that the love with which You loved Me may be in them and I in them." John 17:1-3, 22-26

"On this mountain He will destroy the covering which is over all peoples and the veil which is spread
over all nations.  He has swallowed up death forever!  The Lord God will wipe away tears from off all
faces.  He will take the reproach of His people away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.  It will
be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God!  We have waited for Him, and He will save us.  This is
the Lord!  We have waited for Him.  We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." Isaiah 25:7-9
